Vorm is a unicase modular typeface that was developed during the type basics module at ZHdK. Inspired by Wim Crouwel's original letters for the "Vorm Gevers" exhibition, the typeface is based on a grid featuring gutters, exploring the connecting of shapes aswell as the changing grid properties within different variations of the typeface. Vorm features three different weights and two different widths.

Typesynth 1.0 is an experimental installation piece that let's users interact with a specifically designed midi board in order to create a variety of visuals that are completely based on typography and simple code. This piece will be part of the ZHdK Digital Play exhibition. The visuals created by the visitors will be collected and used for a publication that is also entierely created using InDesign scripting.

The Viscom Showreel is an annual project for the Visual Communication Bachelor at ZHdK. Each year, a group of students is asked to create a video showing highlights and projects of the previous year. I was responsible for planing and structuring the video concept, aswell as for animating a large proportion of the sequences.

The tunnel is the part of a train line where nothing happens. The view from the window disappears and everything goes dark. The Schweizer Tunnel Index (Swiss Tunnel Index) is an editorial researching switzerlands tunnels on 6 selected routes, creating a overview of information about these tunnels aswell as the selected routes. This project was result of the Quantity text module in my first semester at ZHdK.

In the Animation Module of the first semester at ZHdK we were asked to reinterpret the classic Intro of the iconic german television criminal series 'Tatort'. In a first step, we created a arsenal of photographies that we could then turn into a short animation. The idea was to maintain the same visual elements as in the original intro: Hands, eyes, running persons, crosshair, fingerprint.

The so-called “negativity bias” refers to the tendency of the human mind to give more weight to negative events or experiences than positive ones. Even if we experience many positive moments, a single negative event or unpleasant moment can cause us to perceive the entire day as bad. The “Moment Tracker” app offers a solution to overcome the negativity bias and to comprehensively record your well-being. By precisely tracking your habits, your social circle and other relevant parameters, this application differs from other trackers: users only collect data at randomly defined times throughout the day. This approach means that all the data collected is a direct reflection of your current well-being. This enables precise and meaningful analysis over a longer period of time. This project was created as a homework assignment for the Zurich University of the Arts.

Poster No. 6 shows a six-pack of beer. 250 cans were actually produced, photographed, and sold in the evening in the spirit of radical authenticity, thus also serving as a program booklet. Disko is a concert series in Zurich—raw, authentic, underground—and is accompanied by a series of posters. These are designed by co-organizer Hans in collaboration with various friends. All posters are created using an analog process, have tear-off slips, are printed in black on the back of waste posters, and then wildly pasted up. Otherwise, the design is free and diverse.

FUBU (For us by us) is a regular event organized by the students of Visual Communications at ZHdK. For each event, a graphic design studio or individual person is invited to share insights to their work. For the FUBU with designer Adeline Mollard, I had the opportunity to design the poster together with Tea Eberle.
